I'm all set to go on the Eurodam in Aug. Going for 10 days on New England/Canada cruise. I can't wait.
I've heard nothing but good about Tamarind and that I shouldn't miss going there.
I was wondering if anyone had a menu from there and/or the menu for the dinning area on Eurodam. If so, can you please send me a copy or post it here.
Thanks.

We did not keep a menu the the food is south pacific quising. You can eat a full meel and not feel stuffed. The scollops were fantastic.
We ate there several times on the cruise...

Edit: for some reason, just clicking that url doesn't work. Try
cutting and pasting these two together in your browser address:

We were on the Eurodam on it's March 28 sailing, traveling with another couple. We all enjoy dining out and love the food on HAL. Since we have dined in the Pinnacle Grill several times, we thought we would try Tamarind this time. The place is beautiful, as is the Silk Den, the service was impeccable, the ambiance was lovely. The food we thought was less than we expected. I ordered the wasabi encrusted filet and it seemed dry and I order my steaks med. rare. The desserts weren't impressive and I can't remember what my appetizer was called, but is was tempura shrimp and it was OK. All in all it was a lovely experience, but we will choose the Pinnacle Grill next time around. I know that Tamarind is getting great reviews, but I guess to each his own. Not for everyone, but go ahead and try it, it may be to your liking.

The table of six next to us couldn't have been more vociferous complaining about their Tamarind experience. We couldn't praise it enough, and we had the same main course they complained about. We reserved a second dinner later in the cruise, and enjoyed it equally.
I think glitches happen. Sorry about your experience.

We were on the Eurodam for the April 4 sailing and had both lunch and dinner at Tamarind. For dinner, the table of two next to us had nothing but praises for the food and the service. Of course, one of those two people was the captain ;) and the other was his guest. I don't know if it was because of their presence, although it all seemed very natural and ordinary on the part of the staff, but we certainly were treated very well.

We recently returned from a Baltic cruise on the Eurodam. We were looking forward to eating the rijstaffel in Tamarind, but on the day of our reservation we were told that you had to have four people to order that. Something they should have told us when we made the reservation. We did eat there on another day for lunch and found the food, the service and the presentation to be quite good. :)

I was on the same cruise as Taxmantoo. We were treated like royalty. It was wonderful. When they saw us a second time, they told us we were family now. I just loved being there.

We had lunch and dinner at Tamarind when the Eurodam did it's 3 day inaugural sailing out of New York City. We loved it.:D The food and service and ambience were wonderful.
