What are some ways to get onboard credits? We are taking our very first cruise ever on Disney Wonder next April.

You can book with a TA that is offering an onboard credit; they run promotions from time to time.
There is also a first-time cruiser referral onboard credit for 2004, but not sure if that will be continued in 2005.

If you book with your MBNA Disney Visa card you get a $50 onboard credit. This will also earn you Disney Rewards points that you could apply to your shipboard account. Our TA ran a special when we booked and we received a $100 credit.

I have a Bankone Disney Visa. It also gives you Disney rewards dollars. $1 for every $100 purchased. I'll have about $250 credit when I go to Disneyland for the 50th Birthday. That'll buy a lot of Monte Cristos and Mint Juleps.
