Knowing your love of chocolate, you're probably on your way to the Finger Lakes region to help in the cleanup:D

45,000 pounds of liquid chocolate which was to be used for M & M's.

I also thought of RuthC when I heard the story on Fox News. :)

Me, too!!!!:D The minute I saw it on Fox News today I thought of Ruth. So funny after it was only yesterday I told her about the "Administer Chocolate Immediately" medic alert bracelet. Found out it was a no-no to post the website, but it was worth it to give her a giggle.

Looking at that river of hardened liquid chocolate must have driven RuthC nuts!!! So near and yet so far;)

I sure could picture myself immersed in it......:)

Haveing worked for Hershey Chocolate for 27 years before taking early retirement, 45,000 pounds of chocolate is only an appetizer! My finale year with Hershey, I was incharge of the South Eastern distribution center in Atlanta Ga. and in that year we shipped 247,000,000 pounds of Hershey products! The number is correct, that is 247 million pounds a year! What a shame that Ruth C and i are both Diabetics!!!

Yes, she's around. She posted a couple of hours ago.

Ruth, when you finally find this thread, Walt did put the other thread back up for awhile for me because I had responded about how I only wear silver. But it wasn't important. You saw it; that was the main thing.

I may head for the Finger Lakes myself:D . Can't wait for that volcano cake in a few days:p

I coulda, woulda, shoulda been there to help in the clean-up efforts. Times like these citizens have to come to the aid of near-by states. (Actually, it's not that far to I-90. If I leave now....) :)

Thanks for the link, Lovebirds. I even watched (and drooled over) the video. :D

Heather, I didn't get to see your thread when it made it's brief re-appearance. Wish I had read it one more time. Ah, well. :(
