Has anyone stayed in this suite? Just wondering about the wrap around deck and being up front of the ship. Any concerns or problems?? Thanks in advance.

We were in a deck 9 master suite on Navigator (#900) which does not have the wrap-around deck. The hotel manager had moved us there mid-cruise after we were unable to stay in our suite because my husband is allergic to smoke and I'm super-sensitive and there were so many smokers staying around us we literally could not stay in the suite (smoke creeping under the door to the hall, smoke being sucked in the instant we opened the balcony door - this was before they banned smoking in suites and on balconies) - I guess we lucked out as an entertainer who was staying there had just left and it was the only suite available. At any rate, I can't comment on the wrap-around deck but comfort-wise, I felt no rocking/swaying/vibration up there. I loved #900 because there were small windows facing out the front of the ship where our bed was. It was so neat to wake up and look out the window and see where we were going. I suppose having a deck out there would have been even better but for us, just being able to sleep in our suite without getting sick was a huge bonus.

My husband and I prefer a 9th deck master suite as the forward balcony on deck 10 takes away space from the bedroom. A forward balcony is not that usable as it is a solid wall which you could not see through if you were sitting, and underway there would be a bit of breeze. The side balcony for the 9th deck master suite is ample, the bedroom windows are fine for seeing where you are going, and we like the extra walking room in the bedroom. We have not been bothered by the motion of the ocean, but you do feel it up front. If our favorite 9th deck suite were not available, we'd take a 10th; but it would not be first choice.

We were in 901 once, and it was great! We were in a Grand Suite with the wrap-around deck once, and it was far too windy to be enjoyable.
