Just a heads up for those who like to follow his always interesting blog. Capt. Schoonderbeek is scheduled to take command of his 'new' ship, ms Prinsendam, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL today so his blog should be starting up again. Keep your eyes on:

Thanks for the heads up, John. I've been checking his old blog site from time to time. Nothing there yet.

I was under the impression that he was discontinuing the blog ... or rather rolling it into Holland America's official blog where he'll provide some entries about the Prisendam. Or did I get things wrong here?

You've got it partly right. He's not discontinuing his blog but it will be 'rolled into' HAL's blog. He'll contuinue his daily entries out there

FYI; he has restarted his blog under the old format at

It has not been posted, as of yet, on the HAL blog, under ms Prinsendam
