I was just reviewing the excursion for our Western Caribbean cruise in March. I was curious if the HAL Web Site showed any of the new excursions. It did not but the Eco Lagoon Cruise did catch my eye. Has anyone ever done this little excursion on Half Moom Cay?

The one and only time we were on HMC it was very cold and windy and the Tenders were definitely an "E" ride, I needed extra Bonine for that. I am really hoping for calm seas and warm weather for next March, I beleive we will be there the first day of the cruise.

We booked the Eco Lagoon Cruise for the week of 12/12 when we will be in HMC - will let you know how it went.

My husband and I took the Eco Lagoon Cruise on the 10/9 sailing. While it was a nice break from the beach, I was a bit disappointed in that we seemed to spend a fair amount of time looking for a Sea Star, and once we had that and it was passed around and put back, we passed over the sea urchins, then a bit of coral and then a little bit of other stuff, there didn't seem to be much substance to the excursion. I would not elect to do this again, though I guess I'm glad to have done it once.

This shore excursion also caught our eye. Any other experiences with this shore excursion?
