Does anybody have copies of the Zuiderdam's drink menu's, dining room menu's or activitiey lists? Considering taking the Zuiderdam, first time Hal, sailed many times on Carnival, NCL, and Princess. Thank you.!

Thank you all, Tommy thanks a bunch! Perhaps you can put up the first 7 day menu's for us, three activity sheets and anything else you think we could find interesting, it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

How is the food on HAL? We are generally beef eaters, do they still have midnight buffet's each evening, and have you found the ship to be a bit warm as others have told us?

Thank you so much! Lynda

The Zuiderdam menus have already been posted here. Do a search and I'm sure you'll find them.

Daily activity sheets have not been posted as far as I know- it would take forever for someone to do that and they are subject to change everyday anyway, so what you read wouldn't mean much for your cruise. What type of things did you want to know about HAL activities?

Thank you Tommy and everybody else, I will look into thigs more deeply to get the menu's, Tommy thank you and I totally understand.

Just some questions:

We are beef eaters how is the beef/steaks on HAL?
Do they have 24 hour ice cream service as my daughter loves ice cream.
Do they have a pizzeria and how is it?
In the buffets are there meat carvings?
What time does breakfast end in the dining room as I heard its open seating?
Do they have karoke, as my husband is very musically talented, he would love this?
Do they have a movie theater and are movies played during the day and night?
Is there plenty of outdoor deck space out near the rear pool?
Are drinks pricey?

I appreicate it and thank you. Lynda

Okay, I give up, what does HAL consider "california style snack"??Yeah, me too. Are we Californians that predictable?

Chips and Salsa and a Margarita?

Fruits and Nuts?

California Whine and cheese? (we complain about a lot - the weather today is a little drizzle - can you believe it? Southern California? I am just sad for those who are here visiting. It never rains in SoCal!

lYNDA,beef,an steak in dining room just ok,in pinnacle the steaks are much better.Ice Cream opens at 11:30am till 1 am,pizza an pasta bar the same. There are meat carvings on the buffet.Breakfast in dining room is open seating, and ranges from 7:30 some ports 8 others till 9:00.There is karoke, also a ship supersrars contest,There is a threater in the Queens lounge different hours on nightly. The area around the pool fills up early on sea days.Drinks were pricey especially beer. Anything else? Wish we were on for Thanksgiving. TOM

Hi Tom,

I was thinking the very same thing wish we were on for Thanksgiving....we cancelled the Carnival Valor for the Zuiderdam because my sister and brother in law recently got off one of Carnival's ships and they did not like the beef, I trust them as they are family but others have said the very same thing. We don't want a glob of fat or tasteless beef, LOL, but I am very excited to try HAL, this will be my 30th cruise so its about time right? I have been cruising since I was 16 now I am 41 oh no!!! LOL Anyway, kids will like ice cream and pizza to the wee hours, I am also glad they have karoke as my husband is talented and love to watch the others always found many talented people in karoke, ok, some not so talented but its fun. :) Also glad they have open seating in the dining room for breakfast, just have to get myself up as I like to get up at 9-9:30, but I would assume the buffet breakfast is good also. Do they serve pancakes and have breakfast ham? My kids love pancakes, I don't care for the starchy types of breakfast, love omelets and breakfast meats...How are the lines at the buffets? Carnival and Princess had awful lines awful setups.

Well, thank you again. Lynda :)

Yep they have pancakes on the buffet, also very good breakfast Ham but they cut in ridiculously small portions you can ask for 2 or 3 pieces, also theres a omelet an egg station made to order.Tell the kids the ice cream is good the pizza I didnt care for but a lot of people were eating it. TOM
