Dinner table for 9 Zuiderdam

Are there dinner tables big enough for 9 on the Zuiderdam? I remember we had a table for 6, but I don't recall large tables.

Upon special request for a table large enough to accomodate a group of nine traveling together, they may be able to add a chair to a table for eight. Actually, there might be a few tables for ten in the Vista dining rooms. I think you probably can work it out but have your TA specify that request with Ships Services.

HAL definetely has table tops that accomodate 10 diners w/out being crammed in. On the first week of our Oosterdam b2b our table was set for 10 and it was not a matter of crowding in 2 extra people at a table for 8. This was not at the specific wish on any at our table- none of us knew each other beforehand. The nine of you should have no trouble being seated at the same table, just be sure you all request to be together.

We also sat at a table for 10 on the Oosterdam. It was not crowded at all.
Make sure your TA links all the booking numbers together with the request.

There are several large round tables for 10, but I'm pretty sure that all of them are on the lower level of the dining room. At least, this is my impression from the floor plans I've seen and my experience on HAL so far. Upstairs, there are multiple oval tables for 8 in various locations and some rectangular tables for 10 near the windows. Ask your travel agent to be sure, but if you really want a round table for 9, you might want to pick a seating time for the lower level.

Our table for 10 on the Oosterdam was upper level center, behind the railing. It shows on the deck plan as an 8, but our tabletop definetely was for 10, so I guess it depends on what they need to set up on any particular week no matter what the deck plan shows.

Where do you find he "deck" plan for the dining room? We will be 9 of us on the Westerdam in January and all our booking numbers are linked and I would love to able to look at a plan and request a particular table. So happy to be going back to HAL. Just finished a Princess cruise and theres nothing like HAL.
