I am embarking on my first cruise with HAL tomorrow.
Today I printed my boarding pass and it said:

"You qualified for a Signature Preferred Boarding Pass".

However I only have a large outside stateroom, no suite.
Can someone explain why I got this or maybe due to this being just a 5 day cruise everyone is getting a signature preferred boarding pass.

I am just curious and very much looking forward to this trip.

That's what the boarding pass is called when you check in on-line.
The option is to check in manually with a form that's filled out by hand.

Ahh, that makes sense. Thank you.
