it's my understanding that the dividers between verandas can be opened up. here's my question - we are traveling with 10 others with 3 of our cabins being next to one another. on our glacier bay day i was thinking it might be fun to open all 3 veranda's onto one another. i assume this is something that HAL will have to do for us. we would like to have them closed off again following the day in the bay. i wonder if this is something that they, HAL, could do while we are out at dinner that evening? we all want our privacy before and after the glacier bay day.

anyone have any thoughts?

It's very easy and quick to do ... a couple of seconds per divider for the steward to stick a tool in a hole and twist to lock or unlock them. Ask the steward anytime. Here's a pic of a couple of dividers opened:

Keep in mind that it is only a small door that opens up -- not the entire divider.

Isn't that obvious from the picture?

Some people may not realize how small that door is.

Some pictures can be deciving.

When we were on the Zuiderdam, we opened the divider and it was as though the two verandahs were just one. So it is kinda nice to do.
