On the Mozart recently we were only given headphones on one occasion. That may have been because the English-speaking tour groups were usually quite small.

We just got back from Deilmann's cruise on the Elbe on the Katarina Von Bora and the Danube on the Mozart.
I am informing you that on both boats tours we were given no headphones. First we had to listen to the German and then the English as some of the tours were not fully booked. The tour guides would speak in German and then another one in English.
On the Katarina the crew and hotel manager brought in entertainment but on the Mozart no entertainment was brought in. Some tours we paid for we didn't get as they didn't book enough people. Deilmann reimbursed us the last day their VA office was open, but we missed five tours because of all the problems. Never will I pay ahead again.
The food wasn't up to par as the other cruises we had taken. Too much cabbage, turnips, potatoes, boiled beef, duck, cauliflower and other root vegetables. I will never book a cruise on another company having money problems again. Food was Slavic and German entirely. Not up to their usual five star standards.
