We have cruised 100+ days on HAL but always on 'R' an 'S' class ships. We have always had a deluxe verandah suite.

We love these large suites, especially the deep balcony which has loungers and table and chairs big enough for 2 people to eat at.

On the Vista class and Eurodam are any of the suites comparable to these suites? Do any of the balconies have tables big enough to eat meals?

I have seen photos here on CC and they seem much smaller (ie not so deep).

Have sailed on all HAL ships except the Prinsendam.

The side cabins on the Vista class ships do have smaller balconies -- they are narrower than those on the R and S class ships.

We always stay in an SA -- you have a smaller table with 4 chairs -- if there is just the 2 of you -- it is adequate for lunch and breakfast. But if you have dinner -- lots of dishes -- tis a bit crowded. Then are two other chairs with ottomans and a tiny cocktail table.

On the Vista class ships the corner aft cabins have the verandah that wraps around allowing for 2 lounge chairs besides the table and 4 chairs.
