Have I forgotten to do something since we returned home? I have noticed that when I post, the time listed on the post is 1 hour later than my actual eastern time.

Might the CC computer have forgotten to adjust itself to the end of daylight savings time? It is hadn't "fallen back" that would explain why times show up an hour later. However, my posting time shows correctly.

Thanks - don't know what is wrong. When I look at the time you posted, it shows 12:22 with an edit of 12:25 and the actual time right now on the eat coast is 12:20.

It has been off since we put the clocks back and I keep thinking that each day it will be corrected, but not yet. Oh well....in the spring, when we 'spring forward' it'll be correct again if it is left like this.

Thanks s7s - I thought I might have to go back into the cc control board and change something.

No, it's not a problem with the CC software, because it picked up the time change perfectly for me (in the UK) the day our clocks went back - the same day as the US.

It'll probably need some tweaking in Edit Options - perhaps the setting for automatically adjusting for daylight saving time isn't set properly.

You obviously didn't read the "Know Before You Come Back" pamphlet that came with your travel docs. Ever since Carnival bought HAL three years ago...

Thanks tomc - I'll start looking for that phamphlet through all this stuff I brought back with me.

Hope DH doesn't collect everything and weight all this stuff. So far we haven't had to pay anything for "heavy" luggage. Guess DH will just have to start packing less and leaving more room for me and my junk. He always kids me about how light the suit cases are at the beginning of the cruise and how heavy they are at the end.

Now where is that "Know Before You Come Back"????

:D :D

(a) Clocks run faster on land than on a cruise ship
(b) They don't prepare your meals at home; get used to it
(c) Want your bed made? Ok, make it
(d) The scales are off only for a few days, then they are right
(e) The verandah is now called "the back stoop"

(f) There are no chocolates on your pillow at night. But that late, you don't need them anyway.
(g) No one will ring a chime to call you to dinner. "Your dinner's getting cold" is about the best you can hope for.
(h) There will be no one waiting to take you somewhere exciting in the morning after you eat breakfast. Instead, just hop in your Chevy and get back to work.
(i) You'll have to get to Friday night bingo without any reminders.

I believe the answer is in the "User CP -Date-time options". Ensure time zone is correct and DST(on/off) is appropriate.Cheers

p.s. tho I s'pose relativity could factor in...

The Board corrected our time zone here when we went into Daylight Saving at the end of October. It is showing the correct time which 11 hours from GMT.
