Krazy Kruizers

It's Halloween!!!
Many areas of the ship were decorated - dining room, Ocean Bar, Crow's Nest, Piano Bar. The crew spent a lot of time putting up decorations for just 1 day.
The 2nd half of the mariners had their luncheon today. Everything was identical except the mariners who met in the Explorer's Lounge got their first cocktail there. They didn't have to wait till they got to the dining room like we did.
The dinner menus weren't posted until after 2 this afternoon - have no idea why they are so late. I posted the special dinner menu elsewhere.
There were more complaints about the air-conditioning today. And more cabins lost their air over night. At the captain's 1 PM talk he mentioned (actually it sounded like he was bragging to me) about our using only 1 engine (guess we can all figure out which engine we aren't using), cutting our power consumption to 1/2 (no wonder many parts of the ship are hot), and saving on fuel. He explained that we could do this because the distance between Puerto Quetzal and Zihuatanejo is only 682 nautical miles. (now our speed is down to 9.5 nautical miles per hour).
We expected there would be gripes about the Tournament Trivia game and there were. Of course the woman who complained yesterday was on one of the teams that was eliminated in the first round. So it was decided that besides the Tournament Trivia they would add a few extra trivia games to please everyone.
Treadmills - only 1 working today - crew working on them.
Dinner menus didn't arrive in the suites until 5:35.
