upgrade request at booking??

In the past, there was a question on HAL's booking format asking you if you would accept an upgrade. I just booked a B2B Alaska with HAL and noticed this question was not on any of the booking pages. Anyone else notice this? Does the fact I booked a guarantee indicate that I will accept an upgrade? I hope so. I booked an FF as usual because that is the least we would be happy with. We have been upgraded one grade and three grades in the past. We have also been offered upsells that have been good. Hate waiting to find out where we'll be but always exciting and suspensful as well. :D Thanks for any replies.

You grant permission to upgrade you when you book a guarantee. It's part of the agreement---you have no choice in the matter.
So, yes, you could be upgraded from the category you chose.

Thanks Ruth. I must have booked a specific catagory when that question appeared on the booking form in HAL's web site. :o
