Has anyone figured out how to use the online system to get waitlisted on the shore excursions that are currently full?

I would have your TA check with Regent. They are still working out the details on their "free" excursions which I believe begin next month.

I would call Regent directly. Yes, they are busy with all sorts of calls about the free excursions, but I have called twice about different issues and had very pleasant and helpful staff each time I called.
I am also interested in getting on a wait list for one of the excursions, but I was told that, for my desired excursion, even the wait list is full! This couldn't possibly be the case for all the excursions, though.
It was recommended that I check with the excursions desk as soon as I get onboard and make another inquiry...
