Zaandam Cabin 3397

'Just received our upgrade from an inside guarantee K to an outside HH cabin. I'm wondering if anyone has info on the fully obstructed cabins on the Zaandam.
#3397 is on the lower promenade deck, close to the "stern"-ward set of elevators. (Sorry ...it's late, I had oral surgery today, and I can't for the life of me remember the right word for back of the ship)

Any info will be appreciated!

I just checked the deck plan at HAL http://www.hollandamerica.com/pdfs/fleet/za_lower_promenade.pdf
and that cabin is listed as "fully obstructed". There are a couple of large steel metal pieces that connect between decks along the promenade. Some are larger than others so you might still have a tiny bit of view off to one side or the other.

Sorry the news isn't better but at least you will have some daylight and the full promenade deck as a verandah just a few steps away.
