Per the discussion about my changing over my HAL logo signature to Ziggy or Erlene's space, I clicked User CP in order to make the change. No where did a place show where I could eliminate the old addy and put in the new address. Now I really miss Dave.....he'd surely be 'in my mailbox' telling me what to do. He was always ready to help everyone,.

Duh....I'm the computer dumbo......WhatamIdoin'wrong? Thanx

When you click on User CP, the very first option on the list is 'edit signature.' There's where you can take care of it.

Sail: if it is any consolation, you have LOTS of company (with me being the in same section of the cyber-challenged folk)!

Thanks, Jim.

I clicked that and it showed my gif but no where did I see where the typed address that is currently there could be deleted and the new one entered.

It probably was right in front of my face but it didn't bite me so I couldn't see it. :)

BillS....... That was sooo kind of you to make me feel just a bit 'less dumb'.

Sail ... All I see is your gif of the ship. There is nothing else there but a ruled line just above it.

I know that is all that showed .......

So I had to have entered the addy somewhere.

I'm wondering if it automatically carried forward from the Old Board to this one when the change over occured. Did they somehow bring all of the existing ones forward and now do not show on the User CP Edit Signature area?

Sail, go to user control panel, click on edit signature and then click on the yellow box that looks like a picture of mountains, when you hold your mouse pointer over it it says insert image (in the gray shaded area above where you type). After you do that, it brings up a box that says to enter the URL of the image, if you use the image I put on my site, you will type www.rosemontfloral.com/sail.gif (http://www.rosemontfloral.com/sail.gif). Leave the http:// there, if you accidentally wipe it out, you can just type it back in. Once you save your signature it should be there. You won't notice a visible difference, however, if you right click on the image in your signature, it will and click properties, it will give the URL of where your signature resides, this should be the address you typed into the box.

Sierrachik......

A million special thanks to you. Thanks to your generosity and wonderful patience, I think I have switched it over. This is so very generous of you and I am greatly appreciative.

Many, many thanks.

You're welcome, Sail. Happy to be able to help. I checked the picture properties and it looks like you did it just perfectly, it is now switched over.
