I need your help on advice on cabins, we are a family of 4 cannot afford two rooms, so please help us choose, have to put deposit tomorrow am.

Option 1- Inside I category on Upper Verandah Deck cabin size 243 sq feet

Option 2- Outside Verandah VC with balcony cabin size 174 sq feet

Which do we choose, apt for larger cabin or balcony. I need all your advice please, two of us torn on balcony (son and boyfriend) and two for larger (daughter and I). Also are all the bathrooms the same size, and how many chairs are out on the balcony?

Can anybody give us advice on any of those verandah cabins as to its size, sometimes a cabin is smaller but the layout doesn't make it appear that bad. Please help us!! Thank you!

DB,

I haven't been on the Zuiderdam yet, but looking at the diff in square footage I'd say go for the inside. BTW, I looked at both these categories as we're in VBs on Upper Verandah and our daughters are in I categories on the same deck. I found that the insides were just over 200 square feet. Larger than the VB (or VC) but not quite as large as you indicate.

We stayed in I-6067. It was wonderful and specious. (although I don't believe it was 243 sq. ft, ,more like 190-200). It was only 3 of us. Our son was sleeping on the sofa. (Mike is about 5'2" - 5'3") and he thought it was comfortable. We didn't have 4th person with us but there is bunk bad in the ceiling.

I saw different floor plans in I cabins but our room was square shaped

you can see the end of our bed and in the left upper corner there is a bunk.

This is horrible picture of me but there is a nice table with chair next to the bed.

Location of these cabins is also very good.

Unless you can afford suite you won't find larger room.

Go for an S suite on the aft of the ship (if you can get one)
Plenty of room for 4 and a balcony that is incredible.
Occasionally you can get these suites relatively cheap, certainly cheaper then 2 cabins

Unless youcan afford the auite, and it sounds like you can't, then go for the category I inside - more room for 4 people.

Let us know what your decision is.
