Thanks for the information.
Do you know if the promo is restricted to say, for instance, Caribbean cruises? Or is it on all future cruises?

It just says book between Nov 12 and Jan 12. Actually it doesn't say much about which ships, but the upgrade is available to outside category and higher. The shipboard credit is for veranda and higher. I would still call your TA and insist they try to get you the offer. Sometimes it just depends who you talk to.

Promo 267 is a either 2 category upgrade with a $50 p/p credit, and/or up to $200 per cabin credit for certain sailings, not combinable with other offers. I probably did a poor job of trying to summarize. This web site clarifies:

Does this apply if I booked through another agency?

Does anyone know if this promo is for new bookings only or does it include 2005 bookings already on deposit?

I called HAL this week on another matter and the person on the phone told me about Promo 267. They then said, I had to contact my TA, and if they are participating it would be valid for my upcoming cruiseon the Westerdam in Dec. We received a $50.00 pp shipboard credit once I contacted my TA.
I was so happy to receive this because we missed out on the last Promo by booking 5 days after it expired.:D

It's a HAL promo, not the agency's.

Amy,
Thank you soooo much for letting the board know about this promo! I e-mailed my on-line T.A. yesterday and she called back to let me know that I was applicable for the the credit having booked an SS suite! She also said that she was not made privy to the promo through HAL and was thankful that she now knew so that it could be passed on to folks booking an HAL cruise. I asked her if there were new bookings if she would automatically give it to the buyers rather than having them ask for it or miss out on it if they did not know of it and she said she would automatically give to them now that she knew of it. I thought that was very nice of her since I had to find out about this one AND the last one I got through this web site. Otherwise I would have not gotten a credit at all!! Thanks again!! Chef Nancy:)

My sincerest thanks for posting this information!!
We booked a VA. Apparently, the $50.00 pp shipboard credit is only available in the SS category, and HAL wouldn't do the 2 category upgrade on vista ships for VA's (because that would have moved us to an SS).
So.... what we ended up doing was "re-booking" at the VC category price, getting a 'free' upgrade to a VA; keeping the same aft 6165 cabin and saving $47.00 pp (or $94.00 total).
Thanks again!!
Cheryl :)

Good move Cheryl :D
The 2 catagory upgrade is for outside rooms and verandah staterooms VE-VC on the Vista ships and the $50 credit is only good for SS and above.
If you are in an inside cabin or catagory VB or VA you qualify for nothing, no cabin upgrade and no shipboard credit.

Are you saying that I should call my TA and see if I can get the promo on the cruise that I have already booked? Or would I need to rebook the cruise?
