Cruise Critic will allow official representatives of cruise line management to respond to reviews written about their ships, either on our message board forums or in a published review. Responses to published reviews that meet our criteria will be displayed on the Cruise Critic site directly underneath the relevant review. We will not post responses directed solely to the author of the review, nor will we post reviews that are meant to discredit or humiliate our members in any way. We will not post responses directed to Cruise Critic, or commenting about Cruise Critic policies.

The same guidelines apply to management responses as to cruise reviews, and responses containing any of the following will not be posted. This list is not all inclusive:
Profanity or threats
Reports of violent criminal activity
Commercial web addresses, e-mail addresses or phone numbers for promotional purposes
Text entirely in ALL CAPS
Content not relevant to tourists
Responses not respectful of the original author's opinions and experiences
All other Community Guidelines listed on our site
By submitting any content to our site (www.cruisecritic.com, boards.cruisecritic.com) or responding to any content on our site(s) you hereby grant Cruise Critic the royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display any message posted in Cruise Critic's message boards or in our published member or port reviews (in whole or in part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media or technology now known or later developed.
The above list is not all-inclusive; Cruise Critic reserves the right to deny the posting of any response to our member's cruise reviews.
