To correct myself, that was celebrity, but still same company.

I saw a $200 price drop 9n my 2025 Asia cruise. Called to reprice, as I have many times over the years. First she tried to cancel it altogether. I should have known then to hang up. Then she reprices... from $5200 to $11000 ! *****? She says "you probably want your original price, I don't know how to do that". I stayed on the line 40 minutes just to get back to original price. I lambasted her on the follow up email survey, which I never do.

I acquired it very quickly. I love sea days on the balcony, and I also like joining different activities onboard. We've only done eastbound. Yes, the time changes can be tiring, but at least you avoid an overnight flight to Europe. That said, we've only done them with friends/family. Will be a totally different experience when we do one just the two of us.

Gee that's how I felt going just from interior to balcony! Don't think a suite will ever be in my future, but one can dream!

The Blue Lagoon has been closed until at least November 30th.

"we love Malaga" is very good. We did their "walk and taste tour". It was more than enough food. Highly recommended.

Thanks, Ourusualbeach. We will have to find a way to use that deposit somehow. It's a lot to forfeit.

I think I know this answer, but thought I'd put it out there to confirm. I have $960CAD deposited on a cruise that only requires a $530CAD deposit (was originally booked on a 14-nighter and transfered due to Covid to 9-nighter). Personal events are overcoming us and rather than moving to a different itinerary and paying $100 each change fee, we are thinking of canceling altogether. I understand we'd lose $530CAD, but would they refund us the rest of our $960CAD (so $430)? Thanks for the info!
