Exactly! I’m not making reservations, because who knows when I will want to eat each day. I plan to go with the flow, and I’ll be irritated if I don’t have time to sit and enjoy a martini if my beeper goes off too soon 😂
Love this, and following! For one, I’m on Reflection for the 3rd time, but first time since covid, in April. Second, I can totally relate to you! First year of full-blown menopause for me, so I get it. Can’t wait to read more!
Yes! I agree! I have a hump cabin. Could have booked same location on deck 8 for less money, but no footstool. I don't care about any of the other amenities for concierge. Went with deck 10, because it wasn't a whole lot more money, and it had a foot stool!
I'm really upset about this! I know it is such a "first world problem," but the foot stools were literally the ONLY reason I booked a concierge class cabin. I will not book concierge again. 😞
I think Icon is an abomination! Everything does not have to be bigger to be better. From now on, I’ll have to carefully research before booking any cruise to be sure I never end up at a port on a day Icon is there. Can you imagine?
I realized this, too, when I was checking prices to upgrade to 2 device premium Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, everyone else noticed, and X Pass is showing sold out for my April sailing.
Easy for you to say! Women’s clothing typically either has no pockets or tiny pockets, so carrying phones and cards without dragging around a purse is always an issue for us!
Your ice cream answers so far are conflicting. There is delicious scooped ice cream in the ocean view daily in a variety of flavors at no charge. Free soft serve is available at the mast grill, but is not self-serve. The gelato at Cafe Al Bacio is for a charge, other than one free scoop for Captains Club members.
Just FYI, if this helps, on S Class ships such as Reflection, the concierge class cabins are exactly the same size as a standard balcony cabin, so you aren’t gaining any space by going with that category.
As long as we are discussing drink packages in general, can anyone clarify for me if the 20% gratuity for drinks is covered by the package? I have the premium drink package. I saw something on the Celebrity site that made my doubt my belief that the gratuity is included. The way they word it, that the gratuity is added at checkout, makes it sound like they ad it to your account. Now I’m confused.
This was also my experience with Blu. Hated the elbows-touching tables for 2, and strangers inserting themselves into our private conversations. I also disliked the food in Blu. Prefer MDR.
