Celebrity MoveUp Offer Tracker - Please Do Not Post Questions Here!

That's horrible!!! I'm so sorry. 😞 -
@beachhouse I am so sorry you are going through this! We were in Magic Carpet Suite 10168 last November. The loud popping, crackling noise was unbelievable! It even kept my husband awake who can sleep through just about anything! They eventually moved us two nights later to a Sky Suite on the other side of the ship. They relayed to us that they had issues with the noise in our cabin on the previous sailing. People who have not experienced it have no clue how it ruins your vacation. I don't go on a cruise to sleep with noise cancelling earphones or a sound machine which I don't use at home! We have been on over 30 cruises and this is the only cruise we have ever had these issues. We are cruising on her again next month in a regular infinite veranda on deck 7. Praying we have no issues.

Do they ever offer lunch at the Rooftop Grill or just dinner?

Here we go again... LIVE from Beyond, February 19, 2024
spammie replied to mac_tlc's topic in Celebrity Cruises
They are everywhere! We were in the Retreat in November and they were there. Lots of crew walking around and did nothing about it. We prefer to sit in the shade and watched as chairs sat for hours with personal stuff on them and nobody using the loungers. 😞 -
Loving your posts! So sorry to hear about your friend Susie. 😞 I lost my mom 15 years ago to pancreatic cancer. Horrible beast! I missing docking in Havensight. I heard from someone that Celebrity has a 5 year deal to dock at Crown Bay. I also prefer the Retreat Lounge on S Class ships versus the E Class. I like to sit at the bar to have my adult beverage not at a chair. 🙂 Just FYI one of my favorite You Tubers, Jay from the Ship Life is on your cruise! Can't wait for more! Wanda

It truly is a sad world we are living in. When we were in the Retreat Lounge on Beyond in November someone sat in one chair with their bare feet up on the chair across from them. First of all this is NOT your personal living space and it was a rainy, windy day and the Retreat Lounge was very crowded with limited seats. Enjoying following along with you. We booked this cruise for next February but cancelled it when they shortened it. Wanda

Single best St Maarten recommendation for 50 year olds
spammie replied to Spencer71's topic in St. Martin/St. Maarten
We have been to St Maarten many times and been all over the island. I can not recommend Bernard Tours enough! They will take you all over the island and customize a tour to whatever your needs are. https://bernardstours.com/ -
We were in MC Suite 10168 in November. The banging and popping noise from the ceiling was SO LOUD they moved us on the 2nd day to a Sky Suite. We have cruised over 30 times and are use to creaks etc. This was way more than that. No one understands until they have experienced it first hand. First time in 34 cruises we have ever gone to customer service to complain about anything! Packing up all our stuff after being settled in was not fun but there is no way I was getting any sleep in the first suite we had.

Nine chairs together? I would say on a sea day by 7:30am. Port days a little later. Getting 9 chairs together on any cruise pool deck would be difficult unless you are up bright and early!

It is not a balcony it is a room with a large window. I prefer a "real" balcony where I can sit outside and watch the ocean go by.

Ft Lauderdale-pre-cruise late night flight-hotel?
spammie replied to spammie's topic in Florida Departures
We booked the Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port. They provide a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and free breakfast. With taxes it was only $202 with a Senior Rate. We won't even be there for 12 hours. -
Same here in Philly - 22!

We normally stay at the Hyatt cruise port the night before our cruise. For our April cruise we are taking an evening flight the night before and we don't land until 10pm. Is there a reasonable hotel near the airport and cruise port that you would recommend. We really don't want to spend over $200 since we won't even be there for 12 hours. Thank you!
