  1. I think it might've been Azamara Panama Canal Mar 2015? Anyways, we just finished Beyond in Suite class and Ascent and they were both awesome! I wanted to try luxury and love the itinerary with Silver Seas however I'm looking at Jan 2026 and they have a non refundable deposit for port to port which we can't do, this far out, as I have a group of 12 and that's a big commitment this far in advance. Thank you all for the info , good to know as I have a client doing Silver Nova this summer in Alaska!
  2. Hi everyone! Looking for advice, every year I have a group of girls (all mature over 50) doing a Caribbean cruise. We've done Windstar and Celebrity, some of us are Elite + on Celebrity and we've really enjoyed the new Suite Class/Retreat on the newer ships. However I'm really tired of the same old ports, even with Windstar we're so repetitive and I am the one planning all the tours everywhere we go so it gets challenging. I'm looking at Silver Shadow for Jan 2026 with an awesome itinerary and I like the all included excursions plus Celebrity has started upcharging for wines that should be/used to be part of Premium pkg and they've degraded the Suite Class perks so we're looking elsewhere. I'm a little 'put off' by the comments of dressy dress code, especially for Caribbean, is that true? Wonding if those of you who are 'loyalists' think this might be a good experience for us? I've looked at Oceania, fact that you have to call at midnite to book dining reservations scares me, especially with 12 people! And Azamara wasn't our thing, felt too old for my group. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you! p.s. Jazzbeau, we met somewhere years ago, no idea but HI!!!!
  3. bummer...that is such an easy and great service! Thank you!
  4. The only conversation I can find is from last year. We just did this on another cruise and it was wonderful, wondering if Celebrity has implemented this yet for their ships in Florida? Thanks so much
  5. Thank you. I wasn't sure so wanted to know what we're up for. Now just wondering how long the tenders will run as we're there overnite,...hmmmm
  6. We are arriving on Discovery Princess in Feb. Friends, that frequent Cabo, are saying the ship tenders arrive a distance from town and you need to take a water taxi to get to the main area. It's been years since I've cruised to Cabo, any assistance? Thanks so much
  7. Yes, have that info. Wasn't sure what the concierge does? We usually do Suite Class on Celebrity where we have full service butler and lots of OBC we can use to book dining in advance. Since there's no OBC with RCCL Suite Class wanted to know if we should pre-book our dining or wait till we are close to sailing or onboard?
  8. Ken, Thank you so much! This will make it so much easier!
  9. We are sailing in a Grand Suite next year and have a question about dining. We purchased the 3 dinner package and would like to book Wonderland and not sure if we have to wait until we board to book using the package (which we're assuming is a yes) but if we should book Wonderland in advance, pay for it then make an adjustment when we board? Usually book Celebrity so not really clear on benefits of this level of suite on RCCL. Any advise is appreciated!
  10. Was just wondering, there was mention of it in this thread a couple years back but that was BC!!!
  11. Hi. We're doing a TA on Ascent next year and we have Le Voyage booked but thinking we should also try Chef's Table. Question, I am Elite +, there has been mention of a discount for loyalty but wondering if I should book it now then adjust when onboard? And does anyone have any input on Le Voyage itself? Thanks!
  12. I am increasingly frustrated with Windstar's loyalty program. Have upper level loyalty with a few others and they always will combine promos and benefits but not Windstar. Every cruise so far has been with a group that I organize, plan, create and we just booked our 5th with Windstar while onboard. This is interesting, they promote booking onboard however when I get home and contact the group dept they say their discounts do not combine with most other discounts, including the onboard booking discounts and especially loyalty benefits. This is terrible for me since my small 'reward' is doing the group however the group has to pay more without the loyalty benefits. I've written multiple times to upper management and they don't care. Took the same group on Celebrity a few months ago and every person got loyalty discounts and perks, along with group benefits. So frustrating and such a shame.
  13. I just booked this itinerary for 2025 (enticed by the current sale for 2025 bookings!) and would love to follow your info. It is far away but I'm hoping to be able to get details on doing private tours for this wonderful itinerary!
