We are also on Coral to Tassie on 25 Jan. Being cyclone season, we chose this destination because we figured heading south we would probably avoid cyclones. I think I'll pack my raincoat. ☔

We will be on Coral Princess out of Brisbane on 25 January en route to Hobart. Our first port of call is Sydney on 27 January at Athol Bay. I am having difficulty finding any information about this location, other than the fact that it is a tender port. Has anyone berthed here on a cruise who could share information? Does it have access to public transport? Is there a shuttle transfer? Are there shops or cafes within walking distance of the ship? We are both fit and don't mind walking so suggestions of things to do would be appreciated. Thanks for your help in advance.

I disembarked Pacific Encounter yesterday and didn't see any beetles for the entire cruise.

Hello Fellow Cruisers. This is a question for anyone who has sailed on Coral Princess recently. What times are the evening shows held? Are they performed once or twice each night? I'm trying to sort out dining times around show times. Thanks for any suggestions.

Do you know what deck had the problem?

My first cruise was on Fairstar in 1974. We were four single girls in a very small cabin with double bunks. I remember the Jungle Room well. It was a jungle themed bar where you could dance to the juke box until the small hours and hot dogs were always available to eat. The popular song of the day was "Crocodile Rock" and I always think of my first cruise whenever I hear that song. I fell in love with cruising and have since completed 23 more cruises and I'm not finished yet!
