Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Just booked with Patricia for our visit in March. Best way to get a hold of her was thru the WhatsApp. Will come back after our tour and let everyone know how it went. It looks wonderful. Did a deposit thru PayPal. Had to convert it to Euros. We will be going to the bank and getting Euros for the final payment to make it easier.
  2. Enjoying your cruise report. Since we live close to this port this is our go to cruise whenever we want to get away. Not sure if you have plans in Mazatlan, but best thing to do if you want to eat and drink is to walk over to the little ferry area and take a small boat to Stone Island. Cost a few bucks, hang on to your ticket for the trip back. We then walk or take a little truck/taxi, to our favorite beach restaurant, El Velero. Chewie is the owner. Will set you up with chairs overlooking the water. Great food and drinks! And if the little cart comes by selling donuts, they are delicious!
  3. Your speedboat tour sounds amazing. We only have 4 adults and I would love to get a email to see if we can book this tour in March. Thanks for any information you can give me.
  4. My husband left his Kindle on a Carnival cruise. He didn't realize it till we got home a few days later. He filled out the form and it did take almost a month but they notified him that they had it! We were very surprised but it was nice of someone to turn it in.
  5. Can you please tell me which port in St. Thomas you were at? Planning a pick up for our sailboat tour and want to make sure we give them the right spot! Thanks.
  6. We love the Sanctuary on Princess. Only a few times have we had trouble getting it for the week. If you do a Mexican Riviera in November or December, the first day and last day are usually quite cool and usually windy if you are sailing. They do give you blankets to help keep you warm! I have not found it as busy on this cruise itinerary as on the Caribbean cruises.
  7. Well The Covid bug has hit. This Saturday we were to board the Panorama. We had 2 cabins and due to special deals we split up. My husband and son-in-law in one. Me, my daughter and grand daughter in another. Everything paid in full of course with tips and drink packages. My daughter just tested positive for Covid. Luckily we have not been around her at all. We had friends who would jump on the ship with us. Figured it would be easy, change the names on the Cabins but no. Since the deals were under the names of our daughter and son-in-law they won't do it. Want to go but don't want to pay a fortune more for the rooms we got at quite the deal. We booked in March and we thought the deals were under our names but really didn't pay that much attention to who had what deal. Has anyone been able to do name changes? I was really looking forward to this cruise. They will give us future cruise credit but our friends would love to go as we would. Any words of wisdom or luck with something like this?
