I was on this cruise as well. My cabin was without hot water since the original announcement. Many others said they had had water after a few hours and no problems for the remainder of the cruise. Full disclosure-I'm not an engineer but I'd assume the explanation is they have multiple boilers that service different areas of the ship. The line at guest service was ridiculous every day with Karens complaining.
