Before COVID-19, I relied on the "free" international travel insurance offered by my two credit cards (American Express and ANZ bank (Australia). My partner purchased an annual international travel insurance policy for herself.
Being somewhat nervous about the resumption of overseas travel since the advent of COVID-19, we purchased "family" travel insurance package for our recent trip from Australia to USA and Europe. (Regardless, I plan to maintain my two credit cards).
With several future trips planned, we are considering purchasing an annual international travel insurance package that covers both of us.
Our problem is that our plans for 2022-2023 includes a cruise (Cunard from Barcelona to Perth). Appreciating that we expect to be required to show proof of insuance coverage for the Cunard cruise, we are experiencing difficulty in finding a company that includes cruises.
Another factor is age; I will be 72 at the time of the Queen Elizabeth cruise and my partner 67. We are both in good health.
Thoughts and/or tips would be most appreciated.
