  1. Seems these days I have more "cruise crap" than clothing in my luggage. M
  2. Oasis does not have a Viking Lounge. The Crown Lounge for Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle members is a nice venue on deck 4 convenient to the theater, ice rink comedy club and Casino. The room is nicely appointed with comfortable seating and offers continental breakfast as well as evening appetizers. Sometime cookies/fruit during the day It is open all day but has specific hours for when the concierge is there. During evening cocktail hours, if you want a drink, you will use one of your pre-loaded vouchers or pay with the sea pass card. Recently some cruises had many crown and anchor members expected to use the Crown lounge some hours might be restricted for Diamond members. If this happens, it is generally during the evening cocktail hours. Since the drinks are complimentary., many tip the server $1 or $2 per drink. If the concierge has help you during the cruise (i.e. several reservations) it is customary to provide a tip to him/her as well. Enjoy
  3. It is very popular. I love Hideaway beach as it has moved the loud frat part away from the main pool to Hideaway beach. Finally, I can enjoy a nice drink at the Oasis pool bar without a super loud DJ and I can actually get a drink without cramming through 4 people deep at the bar. Plus, now the pool bar is nearly empty, so bar service is great. M
  4. Every cabin we've been in that has a card controlled light switch, already has a card in it upon arrival. Of all the additional cruise related items cruisers purchase, this is perhaps one of the most unnecessary items of all times. M
  5. Recap - this "light card" is an item, that you definitely DON'T need. M
  6. Wonder for sure. Several machines, lots of items including electrons (cords/ plugs/chargers). Located on the pool deck, aft.
  7. EVERY CABIN that has a light switch card control, already has a card in it when I’ve entered the room. I just leave that card in the slot all week. No need to buy anything extra. It is often the business card of the cabin attendant or sometimes it is simply a blank cruise door key card. m
  8. Rack of lamb in Chops is my menu item of choice. I’ve never known it to be unavailable on any ship. I guess however, there is always a chance they could be out. m
  9. I’m currently on the Enchantment and today we are in Roatan. Our ship had to TENDER in. OP, as others have mentioned, I don’t think it would be possible for you to get on this type of tender operation. I understand next week they will be docking, I hope it works out for you, M
  10. Bothered? Far from the truth. None of this is important. I've seen crappy behavior from a variety of passengers. I have no idea (nor do I care) of their C&A status or (suite) accommodations. Six drinks? Not me. Maybe one. m
  11. It is good to have info to make a choice that works for you. FYI - Most ships also have a more G rated comedy show one evening in the theater. Read the entertainment description because there is sometimes late night adult comedy! M
  12. The corkage fee is rarely if ever charged. Feel free to bring the bottle anywhere you want. M
  13. We sometimes sail Celebrity and are looking at other lines. We have to factor in additional costs on other lines to get the benefits we get on RCCL . M
