I have the hardest time ever getting the aarp SBC, seems there’s always a reason I can’t get it

I will be fine, will use Neptune lounge and ask if we can get stocked up, last year, I just did not like their flavor, too strong. Just wondering.

we have in fact just been told it was also offered to a VIP" v "The VIP is an educated guess by us and our travel agent" Both these are quotes from you, so which is it, you were told or justa guess... WHO CARES?. This guest was treated badly, I too would be very upset after the excitement you both must have felt when being informed you won this bid and were charged and your room was changed on all the boarding paperwork. What a great day that must have been! Then BOOM the rug is pulled out from under you with no real explanation and no real attempt to make things right. I am so sorry this happened to you. I do not know what is going on with Celebrity these days. I do hope you enjoy your cruise, although you will have a bad taste in your mouth after this.

What did you like about it? Is there a good variety of restaurants? What about entertainment? I ask these questions not to be rude (as one poster told me I was) but to show interest in your experience. I am happy with Celebrity in Aqua. But I do see that the Sky Suites are expensive. So I am getting prices for other cruise lines. At current prices I think we’re happy in Aqua though we have one more SS booked on Celebrity everybody enjoys different things on a cruise, celebrity probably has better entertainment. HAL has different music venues, their food is more to my liking, their burger cafe is much better then celebrity, again, my opinion. their buffet has so many choices. i enjoy their casinos and their bars. they have a Catholic mass on sunday most importantly to me, they have real balconies, and longer then 5-7 day itineraries. look at their itineraries sometime they are quite impressive. their service is excellent also.

I definitely enjoyed the food much more then Celebrity, I am so glad to hear they enjoyed their cruise!

Yes I can share,the reason I was, am hesitant its because then all of the celebrity fans will reply with some discouraging words of why they don’t like the cruiseline. its Holland America. Three cruises booked two in Neptune suites and one a veranda. all included tips included on one, not on the other two. We just returned from a HAL last June and really enjoyed it. So I hope we have a good time on these also.

I do sympathize I know how unfair it feels when this happens. I hemmed and hawed and have been discouraged by the remarks on this board. So I bit the bullet and have changed over to another line. 3 more cruises have been booked on a different cruise line. I have cruised this line before so I know will be happy with them. tough thing is I have always been loyal to just celebrity and it is sad to decide no more, but I have with no regrets. i do know, there is most probably not a line out there that can compare with celebrity’s beautiful cabins, but that’s about all. Step away, and try another line, you will feel better.

How do you call the upsell department?

Seems from looking at menus all drinks are above the signature package. do they allow you to upgrade to premium once you are on board?
