I really don't understand the hassle of having your phone on you. It's in airplane mode and if you don't buy the internet package it's really a very expensive camera. And if you think about it it's smaller than the digital camera's that everyone carried around on the ship 15 to 20 years ago. Somehow there's a stigma attached to carrying a phone around. One that I don't understand.

As has already been suggested, grats are per person but everyone is free to tip more or less.

I don't get this analogy of someone is being cheated out of anything. Daily gratuities are per person and that's based off of the amount of work the service team has to do. Solo cruisers will have fewer towels needed and I know of many solo's that specifically the attendants to NOT clean the cabin everyday.

Just as Yogi Berra said, "Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded!"

I guess I always thought of gratuities as based on a service provided.

According to SWA website the next schedule release will be: We are currently accepting air reservations through January 6, 2025. On April 25, 2024, we will open our schedule for sale through March 5, 2025. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently.

I wasn't exactly sure but I logged on at 0600 west coast time and the new schedule was available.

Yes, we ate lunch there and we both were served bowls of a combo of tortilla chips and won tons. Salsa and Asian dipping sauce too.
