    Ocho Rios

    Has anyone done the walk from the cruise port to Ocho Rios beach recently and if they felt safe . Google maps says it is only a 5 minute walk . We have a stop in Ocho Rios in a couple of weeks and just want to sit on the beach for a couple of hours .
  2. My experience is I think once ticketed the airline and NCL don’t communicate. Last fall I had booked my daughter and I on a cruise with the airfare. Last minute My daughter could not make it so told them at the airport she was not coming, fully expecting the return to be cancelled, but it was not , I had to tell them at the airport on the day I returned. At the port told them she was not coming’ but I don’t think they did anything, cabin attendant kept asking where she was all week and would get random messages from cruise staff asking how she was enjoying her 1st NCL cruise. Her latitude accounts showed she cruised and the personal cruise planners keep leaving messages about a special offer for her to book a second cruise. Never looked into a credit of the port fees as I used Credits from a 2020 cruise that were to expire .
  3. I actually called back and this person removed the airfare which was $300 and the base fare had gone down $400 so price reduced by $700.
  4. Has anyone run into a situation where removing the air has increased the total price? I called to remove the air and the agent said the base fare had gone up and that she would have to reprice everything. when I look on line I see the base fare is less but see did not see that and all the add on are the same . I guess I can always cancel and rebook .
  5. No the 10% credit code I have is any cruise before the end of 2023.
  6. My cruise base fare was $6000 and then with the 10% discount went to $5400. Now the base fare has gone down to $5900 which is the down $100 from Original amount, can I get it repriced to a lower rate or does it have to now be below $5400 before it would be considered a lower fare? If I cancel do I get this 10% credit voucher back so I could cancel and rebook? Cruise not till Nov 2023, and this 10% code I got is any cruise before Dec 31.
  7. My cruise rep called me on Saturday telling me I had one and she applied to to a cruise I had just booked. (I usually let the calls go to voice mail not sure why I answered it but it was worth taking the call) Last weekend I had called to reprice the cruise and saved $500 and then this credit was another $600 savings . So with the savings I booked the Vibe beach club .

Thinking of booking 2 cruises kind of as a back to back. 1st one from Rome to Rome cruise , and then a 2nd one 2 days later from London to Iceland, Would I be able to use the NCL air promo for one way Toronto to Rome from the 1st cruise and then Reykjavík to Toronto from the 2nd cruise? ( would have to book my own flight Rome to London)
  9. I called this morning and my cruise fare went down $500 with all the same free at sea extras and they had no issues repricing it.
