  1. I am a fan of the medallion especially once onboard. What is frustrating is the inconsistency of the app. This is our 4th medallion cruise, first three pre cruise were a breeze for me not so much my husband. This time he breezed through the pre cruise process but the system wouldn’t take my passport. Called support 4 times, one week apart each time. Each time they tried, wouldn’t work and said that they would bump it up to a higher level technical support and it would be fixed in 3 - 5 days. They refused to give me a ticket number so I would have to start over each time I called. The last time the person I talked to said a ticket had never been generated and just bring the passport to the port. Next time I won’t waste my time calling.
  2. I won a bid to a Reserve Class that was right across from the elevators. I got in touch with my PVP and he got us moved. Even though it showed sold out there was another room for us. We would have been happy staying our original mini and paying for the upgrade but don’t know if this would be possible.
  3. We are about 38 days out from our cruise and received a second email about upgrade bidding. We thought why not and made a bid on Monday and it was accepted yesterday. We didn’t like the location and a note to our Personal Planner yesterday to see if there was a better location and this morning we received an email from Princess with an acceptable room location. I actually was pretty impressed.
  4. We were lucky enough to get upgraded on our first post Covid cruise. We were having breakfast in the Crown Grill and my husband asked for sourdough toast. The waitress excused herself and the manager came to our table and apologized that they did have sourdough as an option but to come back the next day and he would be sure to have it. Sure enough, the next day they had it. We were totally impressed with that level of service.
  5. Yes, they are hot but the canopy can be adjusted so you can get a breeze coming through the bottom. We did it once and that was enough.
  6. With the recent Constellation cruise going out half full getting a primo location was not an issue. We are early morning walkers and every morning there was a man in the same chair by the pool wrapped in towels and blissfully sleeping. We wondered if he slept there each night. We applauded him for not breaking the rules. Literally the same chairs (one for his SO) everyday for 10 days. We should have asked him why those two chairs.
  7. Just off the Constellation and was happy to have the buffet served by staff. The one exception was the bread station. It was a bumped out oval with tongs on a plate to serve yourself. I really hesitated to use the tongs and it was the first time I sanitized my hands after I got my food but before I ate.
  8. We got off the Constellation a week ago and the ship was beautiful but the internet and TV were not good. We had to upgrade the internet package and I think we watched TV for a total of 60 minutes which is very unusual for us. We love to catch up on movies after dinner but not this cruise.
  9. I feel the “scam” comes in when you spend your own money to purchase the pre-cruise offer but you can’t cash it in. If they give me promotional chips I get that you have to play them but the chips I’ve paid cash for I should be able to cash in without playing them.
