  1. I also emailed Vallarta Adventures to ask the same question. Here is their reply: "Thank you for contacting Vallarta Adventures! Yes, at our "Las Caletas Beach Hideaway" you would be able to make purchases with credit Card or Cash, whichever would be most convenient for you." I asked for a price list as well. If I get it, I'll post it here.
  2. I know there are several extra cost activities at Las Caletas, as well as a gift shop. Is it cash only, or do they take credit cards also?
  3. I've gotten Premier and Ultra offers as well. Never done one yet. I will probably never get an Elite offer ... but now I WANT one! 🤑
  4. We loved Georgia. She was our CD on a 14-day Carnival Miracle Journeys (Hawaii) cruise. She was everywhere, always smiling, always dancing. Boundless energy the entire time - from Day 1 to Day 14.
  5. While the Vista is a newer ship than the Magic, I personally would prefer an itinerary with San Juan. I think the kids would really enjoy exploring the forts (castillos). But then again, I would love to go back to New Orleans. My first cruise was out of New Orleans on the Carnival Fantasy in 2007. I had never wanted to go on a cruise, but was bribed with a few extra days in NOLA before and after the cruise. I've been hooked ever since. Enjoy!
  6. You might want to show up the day before ... just sayin' We leave May 4. Easy way to remember, it's Star Wars Day ("May the 4th be with you)
  7. Just did this last year on the Spirit. The only thing I would add is that if you're on the Spirit, it's the only ship with Soul Play, which is a free of charge painting class/activity. My wife really enjoyed that. Agree with all the rest. There is a naturalist, they have a few other activities (I specifically remember axe throwing - foam/velcro axes, not real ones - on the Lido deck). There was a local Alaskan singer/story teller.
  8. My wife and I had our 1st anniversary dinner on the beach at La Palapa back in 2006. We love PV too and I can't wait to go back. Loving your review.
  9. One thing I didn't see mentioned was "Soul Play." Spirit is the only ship this activity is on. It's a painting class/venue on Deck 3, Aft. They have classes to paint specific things and also "free paint" classes where you can paint what you want. My wife really enjoyed it. Sign up is on the Hub App, but sign up early as they fill up quick. There are usually a few "no-shows," and they let people in on a first come basis, depending on how many seats are available.
  10. Um, I am the original poster. But thanks for having my back 🤣 I actually posted these menus a few days before they rolled out the new menu on the Dream. I was a little embarrassed. And then embarrassed myself further by misreading CookieShip's post.
  11. I'm dumb. My old eyeballs read that as "next" summer. 🤪 Duh. Have a great time.
  12. Actually, they won't be that helpful. They are testing out a new menu this summer on the Carnival Dream, and rolling out the new menu fleet wide in the fall.
