Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Do you now have to ask for a hot plate when dinning
  2. It is a very long walk from the main cruise terminals but a paying shuttle bus service is provided, gets very busy if many larger ships are in If you are lucky enough to dock at The World Trade Centre Terminal then you are at the bottom of Las Ramblas and indeed an enjoyable stroll but be very aware of pickpockets
  3. No I'm from the UK and have received the survey I am a reguler Regent guest
  4. I booked airline tickets whilst onboard SoA christmas cruise No problem with the booking but the payment was a problem with receiving the e-mail with the valadation code from the credit card company, it would not just come through before timing out Eventually I had to use 3rd choice credit card but it did work in the end
  5. We have just returned from the SoA Christmas cruise and the complimentary wines were the worst we have ever been offered on over 20 years of cruising apart from the dry rose' The wines offered are all available at discount stores in the UK at under £6 a bottle, I checked online We drank from the "to pay" offerings mainly after the first few nights
  6. Just off, today, the SoA after Xmas cruise and the WiFi was fine Me thinks you knock Saga at the slightest excuse
  7. You only have to ask and it will be there, we always have an extra chair
  8. Where do you read your news reports Harry? I know it's not in the great Saga magazine!!
  9. We had a cruise booked on the Voyager, part of a B2B, next Sept for 10 days,10 different ports in the Adriatic and no sea days RSSC in their wisdom changed it to 4 ports only and 2 sea days, 2 days in Trieste, 2 days in Zadar,2 days in Kotor and 3 days in Athens ( actually Pireaus, not that they mention this). What on earth do they imagine that we do for 2 days in Zadar or Kotor, so close that some tours are offered in each port. As we have cruised with Regent and Silversea for many years we have been to these ports many times and would never booked this cruise if we knew what would occur After a lot of work our TA has managed to change the cruise to another,( I'm in the UK and under their rules), we have 2 other cruises booked and I am now worried will they change the itineries on these cruises They are yet to change the itinery on their webpage
  10. Thanks Flossie Just booked a back to back on Voyager next Sept at a great price We were on the Navigator straight after you in Aug with Ray who we have know since his Silversea days
  11. Southern Ireland is special We have just returned from a SS cruise that visited Dublin Iceland and various UK ports As Ireland is a special case for UK residents no stamps needed but we did have them for the visit to Iceland
