I had a cruise planned that was coming from Australia to Hawaii then onto Vancouver this past May 2023. I was getting on in Hawaii and going to Vancouver. As an American I was not required to be vaccinated and in Canada they did not required you to be vaccinated yet 30 days prior to the cruise Royal Caribbean send out an email to everyone saying that you had to be fully vaccinated to do that cruise. Neither US or Canada had that requirement but RCI imposed it.

The fancy glasses that the drinks were served in even at the pool!! No cheap plastic glasses. I love my collection of cocktail glasses! 🙂

This is what Princess calls that excursion, I too have done the Rhum Runner a couple of times and will be doing this one in November 2023. It looks to be the same. Harbor Cruise, Grand Anse & Morne Rouge Beaches Swim or walk the snow white sands of Morne Rouge Beach. What better way to get there than aboard the Rhum Runner catamaran cruiser? Launch from St. George's inner harbor and zip out across the glistening water. Feel the sea breeze in your hair and the sun on your face as your captain speeds along Grenada's scenic southern coast past Grand Anse Beach. Enjoy rum punch, soft drinks and local fresh fruit as your guide provides commentary on the island's history and culture. A brief stop at Grand Reef allows you to view the colorful marine life and feed the fish. Then, you'll drop anchor at Morne Rouge Beach so you can swim or simply relax on the sun kissed sand. On your way back to St. George's dance to the band's Caribbean beat, participate in the limbo competition or form a conga line with the friendly crew. Hope this helps!

I just checked my cruise that is next month and only Giovanni's is open for lunch on boarding day on the Allure.

I had to cancel my Hawaii cruise that was scheduled for next month, May 2023, in March 2023, after final payment, due to Royal Caribbean changing the vaccination guidelines for Hawaii to Vancouver. I cancelled the cruise and had a full refund within 2 weeks. I booked directly with RCI and not through a travel agent. I would reach out to your travel agent, they work for you and they should be calling Royal on your behalf. Why it would take 10 weeks is crazy. Good Luck!

I have used their transportation from the airport to the port. We had to wait an hour or so for other flights to arrive and get those people on the bus. They won't be taking just a couple they like it when the bus is full. This time we decided to hire a car service, Galveston Limousine Service, to pick us up and take us to Galveston. It is a lot more than the transfer. We are arriving two days early so the transfer would not work for us this time. We will be taking the transfer from the ship back to the airport at the end of the cruise.

I have used Bernard Tours every time I have been to St. Maarten. His tours are wonderful and I would definitely use him the next time I get to St. Maarten. Highly recommend.

Before covid, I did a cruise that happened during lent season and over Easter Sunday and the ship actually had a Priest on board to do mass and they asked passengers who were Eucharistic Ministers at their home church to give out the Eucharist. It was a wonderful mass held in the showroom and it was packed. We actually started to run out of the Eucharist to give out. Way more people than the Priest was prepared for. But with that being said, if you are boarding on Easter Sunday you will need to find a church near the port and go to an early mass before you board.

Why do they need to be vaccinated? Travel from the United States to Canada? Neither country requires vaccines.

I submitted mine January 18, 2023 online but didn't pay for expedited processing. I have not gotten it back yet. I have a cruise at the end of April. Hope I have it back soon. I thought I would be safe sending it out 4 months prior to when I need it. When I sent mine it said it would take 6 - 9 weeks so we will see if I have to call my Congressman!

What about having Vancouver as your final arrival port on a cruise from Hawaii? Will they stop you from getting off the ship in Vancouver so you can fly home that day? You would only be in Canada for less than 12 hours - don't they consider that as transit with no plans of staying in Canada? I thought I read that someplace.

I use Larry's Limos every time I come to Florida for a cruise. They are great and I feel decent pricing. Will be using them tomorrow for my cruise and they will be taking me from FLL to the Port of Miami and then when the ship returns they will pick me up and take me back to FLL. Very reliable.

😆 I got in on that deal and then the cruise was cancelled because of covid!!! Ugh
