  1. Once you have vacated your room at 8:30 am, the rooms are opened. Anyone can walk in including people still onboard, people on B2Bs and oncoming guests. Doors aren't closed again until ready for new guests.
  2. Their unwillingness to publish reward tiers encourages players to spend " a little more" because they "will get" offers. When comps or offers don't materialize, they accept that they didn't spend enough and every social media group tells them that. Next trip, they spend more. If they said at 5000 points you get a free interior, people would stop at 5001 points. It is quite genius especially since those who splash their comps online lie about how much they spent.
  3. Yes. As noted above, PVPs have no connection or pull with either the Carnival marketing nor the casino marketing departments.
  4. Onboard comps are impacted both by the comps you already received on your booking offer and other players on your specific cruise. If there are "ECHO" players onboard (Carnival's version of whales), they do suck up most of the comps as well as when there is a casino sailing on board (Premier/Ultra/Elite). There will be signage in the casino is that is happening. The only time "points" mean anything towards future offers is a "bounce back" offer received at the end of your cruise. Your overall onboard spending and method of payment can impact future offers. You also need to be sure you have opted in every time Carnival asks if you want to receive promotional offers including during online check in and on your profile. Slot points are objective but table points are subjective. Slot machines don't care if you are rude, snap your fingers or don't tip. Table dealers/pit bosses do.
  5. If you have the offer with free drinks only in the casino, both of you would be required to purchase CHEERS if one wanted it. The exception is only for those with the free drinks all over the ship which is the casino has purchased CHEERS for them already so they permit the second person to buy CHEERS onboard

  7. On embarkation day, a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, energy drinks, juice, and milk), packaged in cans or cartons, may be brought on board and must be in the guest's carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12-ounces/354-ml each or less, per person.
  8. Get insurance. No one gets points for cancelled cruises
  9. Nor does he know why. He often contradicts the information given by our resident ship engineers.
  10. But you are okay with playing with safety onboard?
  11. The hot water dispensers are hot enough for a nice cuppa . If you request a carafe from Room Service, it will be lukewarm. Tea Time pours from carafes so it should be renamed "Brown Water Time".
  12. Not true. Guest Services may assist with side to sides when it is Carnival to Carnival
