  1. We never take our passports off the ship unless it is a requirement of that country. Only once in 25 years of cruising, that was for Tunis. Had to give our passports to cruise staff once in a port stop in Chile.
  2. This is Symphony Halloween.. Parties, parades, costumes, haunted house in studio B.
  3. Sharing is banned, it is thievery and evil. We may see you on YouTube walking the plank. That being said our granddaughter always ends up with the soda cup from the UBP, no one seems to care. As others have said the coffee is not bad at all.
  4. Same goes for your cruise price. If you find your cabin category on sale at a lower price your TA can get the new price if you are before final payment date. We have had as many as 4 reprices for a single cruise.
  5. If you see a lower price you just cancel and repurchase. It can be done several times. You do it through the cruise planner.
  6. Good luck to them. We have missed several ports over the years and have never seen a refund.
  7. Let us know if you win, what your upgrade was and how much you bid. Good Luck
  8. Well, you have one upped me. My wife usually has three or maybe four, leaving me with six or seven per day. I get by, but your percentage is a winner winner chicken dinner . happy cruising
  9. Your gratuities included are ONLY for the specialty waiters, and they only receive a few dollars. Your daily gratuities are for the waiters, cabin stewards, hotel staff and some behind the scenes workers. Some leave extra for the waiters, we do, and some leave nothing. Your choice.
  10. You are correct. We had special seating on our last sailing in a JR Suite, but we were also D+.
  11. Not many perks for a Junior Suite. Coffee maker, bathtub, priority tender boarding when leaving the ship but not for returning. There is priority show area but they do open the area to everyone 10 minutes before show time. No access to Suite Lounge and no special breakfast. You do get 1 extra daily point for sailing in a JR Suite. JR perks are slightly better sailing Quantum or Oasis Class. Boarding should start around 10:30 - 11am.
  12. Makes you wonder what the review would be from a reporter that loves cruising... what a joke the Atlantic is.
  13. Some TA'S, like our big box TA, does not have the option for a Royal Up offer.
  14. We stayed at the Pan Pacific last year. Also had a 1 pm ship checkin time. Called the hotel porters for cruise ship luggage service around 9:30. They picked up the luggage and said to just go and checkin. Went through checkin around 10:30 and then straight onto the ship. No ever asked about checkin time. Pan Pacific was pretty nice, easy walk to the Steam Clock in Old Town and a $6 dollar taxi from the hotel to Granville Island.
  15. That $58 pp, does not seem like a deal at all. I remember last cruise onboard prices were in the mid $50 + the 18% range. Things are changing, and not for the better.
