Just a update, I'll catch up later. We didnt get home until 6 pm. I told my bil to pick me up at 330 not knowing how late he was running. He had had a surgery with complications that put him behind. The lady in the cubicle next to me didnt speak english and her daughter interrupted a lengthy argument when the doctor came out to greet the 2 of us. She had a growth in her eye and yesterday he was removing thr growth and she had to come back for cataract surgery. Her growth removal was a 30 minute surgery vs mine for 15 to 20 minutes. She didnt want to come back, wanted him to get it all done yesterday so argued and he was like we already covered all this in the office. But she wasnt liking it and arguing about it with the doctor. A growth in her eye? Yikes. At 330 they removed my watch so I had no way to see the time. In case I had to be revived couldnt have my watch on my wrist. All my stuff was packed in a surgery bag, even my jacket and they offered me a blanket. So I only had less than a hour last night. At 9 pm I was to remove the patch over my eye and do the 3 eye drops, 5 minutes apart. It made me a little dizzy and stuff is a bit blurry. Then I taped it back on and went to bed. I am up now with the patch off to do my 3 eye drops and I have to be to his office by 945 am to check the surgery. So much for dont bend. I had to move the trash out for pick up and my jeans came off on the floor and I had to bend to pick them up to wear today. He could have been a bit better on instructions imo. I remember hearing him tell me to fast but it wasnt on the pre opt instructions. As I said his surgery scheduling lady was off that afternoon so his wife was there trying to cover. I had a cookie and coffee before I remembered someone sayijg to fast. Time for eye drops. Get ready and im driving over even if I have to cover the eye. Idk, I'll see. One drop is every 2 hours I'll already miss by the time I get to his office. Says every 2 hours while awake for 1 week., post and read later. The words are swimming tbh. My eye is watery and more drops to come. Idk they dont predetermine the lens. He measures while you are laying there and then picks the right size lens at the time. He did also say he caught the cataract just in time as it was just turning thicker. He caught it before it grew thick enough to really block my vision barely. He told me again the lens is the best currently in the whole world. Sorry my eyes too blurry to read posts.. hopefully later.

Changeover Day on Back to Back Cruise
firefly333 replied to KerryJTaylor's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I agree with the last post. Port Canaveral isnt that close to orlando. No way I'm getting off the ship and finding transportation all the way to orlando. I've driven it and it took me way over a hour because I skipped till roads. To get to anything you want to see in orlando even further. Too far imo to enjoy orlando and get back a couple of hours before the all aboard. -
OP asked about 1 day purchase.

No refund of port fees and taxes for no-show?
firefly333 replied to soremekun's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I dont know this is true. Royal also has not refunded port fees when I missed a port or fees and taxes dropped. I wrote to the vp there and got a email saying it was up to each ship if they wanted to refund fees and taxes for a missed port or taxes dropped. Carnival on the other hand has always refunded a small overage unlike royal. I feel the same way you do that if you dont go to a port .. in OPs case someone no showed, there should be a refund legally. I'm betting there is something in the agreement you click on that gets them out if it. -
Hes just removing the drop down lighting. I want to pick out my own appliances and if I decide to change cabinets or cabinet doors. I trust him to remove the lighting not pick out my appliances. The lighting also in the closet at the end of the balcony where mr handy ex owner just wired another light to the original I want removed. I'd bet you would want to pick out your own appliances. Idk.

Click on the restaurants and see if they are offered on day 1 lunch. Some are, some arent. Often chops is for key members, as a for instance.

Even if you have their email doesnt mean they answer their emails. He probably has minions answering for him.

Those are really lovely. I love your decorating. I'll try and save your post. So pretty. I have a whole collection of wooden carvings very much like those on that table I've collected over the years cruising. But I love your way of displaying them. To those who say wait to paint. Hes redoing the kitchen light. Involves sheetrocking, taping and bedding and repainting. So kitchen ceiling has to be painted.

I'm not very much into color. Not a artistic bone in me color wise. I've always thought for a kitchen especially bight and airy is the goal. I never thought about a darker color on the walls. I asked sherwin William's for grey and agreeable grey doesnt even come up, had to ask specifically for that color. Their site shows it in various rooms including the kitchen. I'm thinking but not sure. Im not picky about color. They may have painted it for showing it, the whole condo seems to be in good shape. My painter calls it hospital white. So he too is suggesting not too white. For those who dont know agreeable grey it's almost a brown. Would go with a lot of colors. Looks lighter to me on the 2nd screen shot. I also like crashed ice on panel 2 and panel 3 drift of mist. Immdriving myself nuts. I dont want to go too dark either, especially for a kitchen.

That's before you board. The prices we are quoting are if you only want one day, 24 hours, not a whole week. A week before you board is always cheaper. Not apples ro apples. The OP is asking for how much is ONE DAY. They are not asking for the price if you purchase for a whole week.
-
You are onboard now? I've seen prices that vary daily once onboard.
-
Yes per person per day. Once we skipped a port and had a sea day. They raised the price just for that one day to 32.99. I was kinda mad. It wasnt our fault we skipped the port. Weather. So more people wanted wifi that particular day.

I've had no one locally say the mall is closing. Perhaps Penny's is closing not the whole mall is what I've been told by my realtor who lives in the area. It could close but I doubt by may. That would be super fast.
