I got an email from our CVP expressing his sympathy because we had to cancel our May 1 cruise from Honolulu, last Friday since DH had to have emergency surgery. So nice of him since he was losing his commission and still thinking of our disappointment.

Al Bacio cappuccino is our favourite perk also.

Hope you enjoy Celebrity. We love Blu. Often when people want to eat together, they push two tables together. There are also bigger tables in Blu than two tops. Bon voyage!

Aqua definitely. How far away is this cruise? if you could get 3 of the stern cabins on deck 11, it would be fabulous. These go quickly and there are only 5 of them. You also get 2 extra loyalty points/day if you choose AQ over a regular balcony. Enjoy your cruise.

Great to hear. i hope they can successfully fix it for you so you can enjoy the rest of your cruise. BTW, I was just going to post the reason I thought you were not giving out your cabin number but you beat me to it. i'm sure you'll give it when you are off the ship.

I am so sorry your first post on Cruise Critic is about a nightmare. You sure did get the runaround. I hope your cruise to Scandanavia makes up for it. We have sailed on many cruises and we have never booked airfare with the cruiseline. We prefer to make our own arrangements for flights. Our cruise dropped a lot. We had already made final payment so I knew we would not get either a refund or OBC. What we did get was an upgrade from Concierge to Prime Aqua. We kept our original OBC. I was very pleased. This is on Edge.

Thank you for the poll. We will sail on Edge in a short while and we have made reservations for each of the 4 dining rooms. We value the opinions of each one.

Glad you enjoyed the Silhouette. it is our favourite ship too, although we haven't sailed any of the E class.

Our first was on Meridian, second was Zenith. I loved that magazine.

Thank you all for your opinions on the IV. We will be trying our first one on a TP in May. It will be nice to enjoy the balcony. Previously on that sailing, (S class) we have found it too cold to sit out there and we do enjoy the balconies.

We've enjoyed the helipad a few times too. The best one was out of Bermuda. However, for the Panama Canal, I think a stern cabin beats the helipad hands down. No crowding, people pushing in front of you, and when you get too hot, you can just step into the cabin and cool off. We really enjoyed watching the ship behind us and seeing the gates open and close and the water rising etc.
