The Merritt Square Mall has looked like that for years! I too visit The Avenue at Viera. It is definitely closer than the Melbourne Mall, but it can be an expensive ride to get there if you don’t have a car.

Apparently, Amazon has a marketing genius.....

I just keep an out of date AAA card in my travel bag to stick in the slot if I need it. 😉 -
Merritt Square Mall has a JC Penney, Dillards, Macys, and yes, a Bath & Body Works. The Mall also has a Books A Million, Ollie’s Bargain Store, and a very good Mexican Restaurant, Margarita Island. There are other assorted stores, but I don’t know what they are. The general Mall has not been well maintained, but the anchor stores mentioned above own their space and are fine. As long as you are happy with those stores, it’s fine to shop there.

WOW sale today and we got a good deal

This was actually a much better deal last week. We booked a Suite Guarantee on two cruises without our C&A discount. There was only a difference of $100-$150 and we got $600 in OBC. -
Residents here are weary of the daily traffic jams and the constant shenanigans. Years ago, Cocoa Beach actually had to pass a City ordinance banning furniture from the beach. People (mostly twenty-something’s) were bringing couches, chairs, etc. to the beach. They’d find them along the way, sitting out for trash pickup. Once at the beach, they’d set up a seating area on the sand, party all day, and when it was time to go home, they would leave the furniture along with their trash. 😳

We just got off a 4 night cruise on Liberty. Our mistake as Spring Break had already started (March 4)! There were more than 4,200 guests and more than 800 kids. Lots of older teens, twenty-somethings, and families. Luckily, we could go to the Suite Lounge and we used our BOGOs for dinner in Sabor and Giovanni’s (both excellent). The Windjammer was packed at breakfast/lunch (and probably dinner), and MTD was packed the two nights we went. Great staff though, and good food everywhere!
