  1. We're not fans of the MDR and most of the Windjammer. We do specialty restaurants and some ala Carte like Playmakers. Granted we're not expecting anything close to Guy Savoy in Vegas, but for the price point beats most chains on land.
  2. Window seating is something you can request. If you're My Time Dining, you may have to wait a bit depending on when you go. For seated dining your best bet is to contact the maitre d' on boarding and make your request. Personally I don't think the ships have that much motion unless in a storm and even then it's not bad. But many folks are just the opposite, so Dramamine or Bonamine is a requirement.
  3. Might be the configuration, but 7142 is forward and you have cabins above and spa stuff below so noise would be okay. 14698 is aft and under the Windjammer on 15.
  4. Only via the road. There's a fenced in area just on the other side of Jack's Shack that you can't get past. But you could walk the beach to Jack's then take the road.
  5. The only beach on the mainland near Belize City is Cucumber Beach in Old Belize City. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g291968-d2560028-Reviews-Cucumber_Beach-Belize_City_Belize_District.html
  6. Viator has several sail/snorkel excursions in Aruba. We had a large party on the Jolly Pirates a few years back. https://www.jolly-pirates.com/
  7. This also happens when you don't shut and lock regular balcony doors. Built in design so AC isn't over taxed.
  8. A year from now we'll be prepping to get off the ship😀😕
  9. Well based on the website (albeit from 2017) $100 MX for 750ml bottle is what they charge not $100 US. Maybe you or your son can contact the distillery and see if there's a US distributor. https://licoresfrutaleslosreyes.wordpress.com/2017/10/01/primera-entrada-del-blog/coco/
  10. On Trip Advisor there's listing for Grand Turk Sea Glass Adventure. You'll see it if you google sea glass Grand Turk.
  11. Might not be any consolation to you but Hacienda Tequila is available in the US at major liquor stores, like Total Wine
  12. My understanding is for ala carte restaurants, it's up to $20 per day not per restaurant, but $20 can't be split between ala carte restaurants on the same day. However, we have used UDP at two cover charge restaurants on the same day. Example: Giovanni's for lunch and Chops for dinner.

    Wind

Depends on size of ship and whether or not you are docking in Coxen Hole or Mahogany Bay. Large Carnival ships do get cancelled if winds are too strong for Mahogany Bay. But Coxen hole is a different configuration and unless there are several ships scheduled there, docking is possible with wind.
  14. Doesn't the balcony cabins alternate where the bed is located? Just find a cabin with the arrangement you want.
