Oh My! It's only 88 days away from sailing and I cannot believe no one has set up a Roll Call yet. I just reserved this cruise out of Seattle for myself and a good friend. She has never been to Alaska; I have been twice before and can't wait to go again. Between the 3 cruises, I will covering different parts of the cruise season (prior cruises were mid-May and mid-September). Really looking for to June. More Whales? More salmon? More bald eagles? We shall see. Anyway, I would not think the ship is empty, so hoping to see some other posts here and where you are from, if you've been to Alaska before, how many cruises have you been on, and whatever else you would like to share. It has been awhile since I went on NCL, which is all Freestyle Dining now. I have only been on cruises that have two dining times in the MDR. Suggestions??? Will the host(ess) seat me by myself? Can I be seated with a larger table? Anything I should worry about, or what is the best way to navigate this? LavRs 1/6/24 - NCL Escape

I am excited about my upcoming cruise from Sydney, AU to NZ. However, and this may seem like a silly question to some, but I enjoy tipping specific crew (e.g. cabin steward) on top of any automated tipping by the cruise line. On a cruise based out of Australia, can I tip in USD, or is better to exchange that to AUD/NZD currency? I have only been on cruises where everything (excursions, gratuities, etc.) are based on the USD.
