We did one in August. There is a letter telling you the procedure that arrived in cabin two days prior. We went to quasar. Swiped card and they were taken off us. There was a table with new passes which we were given and then we swiped them in. We could get off ship once we collected a transit pass.
Just watched a u tube video by"Zach the travelling man" which gives his retreat views from last month. This is after the butler changes and wow just wow . He was not happy.
You go to your meeting point, usually the theatre, One person takes all tickets for your whole group to retrieve your bus sticker numbers. No problems that way
We were in a Royal Suite in September on the Silhouette. The beds can be split but only a few inches as the side tables are fixed. This works fine.
There will be a kettle and tea tray in your room as standard. It will be replenished by the butler who will also supply clean cups, saucers etc.
In my experience you go to your meeting point, usually the theatre,
One person takes all tickets to the excursion staff and you are given your stickers
You will then get all the same numbered sticker which is your tour group.
Was on board last week.
I would say it was 50/50
It was certainly more than I have seen recently but as we had 3 chic nights it was probably
Worth the effort
We were also on this cruise in a R S.
I agree with everything you have mentioned apart from check in.
we were seated in the retreat. area and went through a separate scanner with our carry on.
I too missed the podium speakers. Our sail away invite was Gibraltar.
according to our butler 4 suites had covid passengers.
