I just returned. No one dressed up. People were casual the entire time. I generally wore jeans, pants and casual shirts or sweaters. I did not see people wear T-shirt’s or sweatshirts to dinner but jeans pared with a casual or slightly dressy blouse/shirt are ok.

I just returned and LOVED it. The food was the best that I have ever had on a ship. Service was wonderful and the expedition team was top notch. World Traveller is absolutely beautiful with elegant blue and teal designer touches. Everything went very smooth. Drake was not too bad but I took patch and Dramamine and no nausea! My biggest gripe is the internet which is the worst that I have had traveling and I’ve been just about everywhere. I do not know if that is Atlas fault because I am not sure what other satellite alternatives are available in that area. Do not expect much in entertainment. Piano player, crew band and cruise director did their best but don’t expect larger ship options. Zodiac landings were a little more difficult than I expected because there are many rocks that make balance difficult, Getting on them is easy. The expedition team is there to help with it all. We saw lots of whales , orcas , LOADS of penguins, other birds and different types of seals, The continent is beautiful!

I just returned and it’s terrible. The only thing you can do is basic messaging and email and the 1GB goes fast. Prepare to pay extra.

The Alvear Palace is a historic hotel and Atlas had great rates for it and the Sofitel in BA. Both are wonderful. I stayed at the Hilton as part of another tour prior to my Atlas cruise and it was much nicer than the typical Hiltin. The Hikton is is a newer part of BA whole the other 2 are in the more historic part.

Atlas is a brand new cruise line. Their CEO is from Oceania. Their ships hold about 200 passengers and started sailing to Antarctica in 22. This is their first year for the Med.

OAT is not a luxury brand so this is a step down IMO for them. Has the World Traveler sailed yet?

I’m going on Feb 23 but a friend of mine went right after you did and she loved it,
