My apologies if this has already been covered. Since Royal Caribbean now owns Silver Sea do they give on board credit to stockholders that own 100 shares?

Just got off the Ascent Sunday. If you go before 6:15 or after 8:00 there was little or no wait to be seated. Since the main menus are the same, each floor has two restaurants across from each other so we went to the shortest line unless we wanted something from the section of the menu for each restaurant.

I have booked 4 cruises with the Blue Chip Club in the last three weeks. I received several snail mail post card offers. Most of the free inside cabins were gone when I called. I booked three Balcony cabins for the difference between an inside and the Balcony. If you call the Blue Chip Club they will tell you what you are rated. Two are with the Apex and Ascent. Great value!!!

Just got off the phone with Oceania and was given a 10 percent discount to pre pay the Drink package with wine and beer at lunch and dinner. Thanks LHT28 for the heads up.

Is it any advantage to pre pay for drink package before you board the ship? Some cruise lines offer discount to pre pay.

If you are on a Silversea cruise you will receive a 5 per cent discount to book on board. I just booked on board our last day and transferred the booking to a travel agent who offered free travel insurance. You can shop after the booking for the best offer from different agencies. Just let them know that is what you are doing when you book. Gangway

Just got a call from my travel agent Oceania has agreed to upgrade us from regular balcony to a Penthouse plus give us an additional $1400 on board credit for our Aug 5th sailing. Thanks to everyone’s help. Travel agent called O last week and they said upgrade wasn’t possible since our B4 Catagory was sold out. After the advice on this forum I called the travel agent again this week and the upgrade was offered. It really does depend on who and when you call.

My travel agent called Oceania about upgrading or shipboard credit for our August 5th sealing on the Riviera. Oceania said they would be happy to help but since our Catagory B4 is sold out they couldn’t do anything. On the extraordinary sale they are offering Balcony cabins for a couple thousand less and Penthouse cabins for about what we paid. Has any one tried to pay for a small upgrade to higher Balcony cabin that is not sold out to receive an additional upgrade or on board credit? Just an idea I had. Thanks for your replies, Gangway
