On Black Friday, I was able to get an Oasis Lagoon cabana for $400 when they were regularly offered for over $1,000. The soda package was also a couple of dollars cheaper than they typically had been.

The waiter at Chops on the Oasis offered to get lobster for us without us even saying anything. We were a party of 5 and only one person wanted the lobster. The waiter got 5 for us.

Thank you all for the replies. I don't know what they would be doing or if they actually have any plans to do anything that late, but I just wanted to get an idea on if he would be allowed to stay out with his brothers.

My three boys (23, 21, and 17) will be staying in a cabin separate from me. The curfew states that those under 18 must be in their room or Adventure Ocean activity unless accompanied by parent or guardian after 1:00 AM. Would his brothers be considered guardians for this purpose since they are the over 21 YO in the cabin? I want to give all three boys some independence and not be tied to me for activities. Thanks.

I had cabin 8500 on the Explorer, which is a family cabin. It actually had a door separating the bedroom and a separate bunk room with a door. We really liked it. The only thing was you must keep your curtains closed at night since the bridge is above you. I believe that is true for all forward cabins, regardless of deck.

I second making the purchase on Black Friday. I did that last year for my upcoming cruise in June. I was able to get packages at about 50% off. I was also able to score a cabana at Coco Cay for under $500.

While I do not have experience with Quantum, I have been able to get a chair with no sides on other ships. Go to the dining room when you get on board and speak to the maitre'd to make the request.

I was looking at the testing requirements and checking out pharmacies that offer the tests. Walgreens is offering the PCR/NAAT lab test (results in 48 hours) , a rapid NAAT test (results in 2 hours) and rapid antigen (results in 2 hours). RC website allows the PCR or NAAT test. Do you know if that also includes the rapid NAAT test? Or should we stick with the rapid antigen?
