Hey all, we just got switched from Labadee to Nassau for our August 11 FOS cruise. Bummer but not end of world ( bummer because we already are going to coco Cay so was hoping for someplace not Bahamas). Any ways it'll take royals AMAZING IT department a while to make the change so mean while I'm wondering about excursions. Hubby mentioned Atlantis being in Nassau and we've never been there. I know it's ridiculously priced as is everything these days. But if anyone has RECENTLY(within the year or so) done this can you give me some insight. Price and what it includes? I like to stick with the cruise company excursions to keep mishaps to a minimum in light of all the stupidity in the news lately. We use to go wonder off like crazy people with no cares but being a little older now we're more cautious. Thanks for any help.

Lucky you! We'll be on FOS in August. We now will be stopping at Nassau. We're already going to Coco Cay so I was hoping for something better. Don't really like Bahamas that much so 2 stops there is horrible.

I understand that. However if one ship has a finer seafood place and another does not they don't have what it takes to make that. Which is why I was specifically asking about Freedom.

Has anyone done Taste of Royal lunch on FOS? I know the bigger newer ships have more variety of restaurants so I'm specifically asking about FOS because we'll be on her in August. The sample menu shown on the website shows items from restaurants that aren't even on Freedom 😅

Well it is why we stick with one line. We found one we liked and stayed to reach the point where we would get some extra perks. So yes some actually do. Especially those of us that can't afford to cruise often. Obtaining Diamond allows us to have some extra perks that save us a little money. Like the free drinks.

Yeah this is BS. Sorry but we put in the time/ money ect to finally make diamond and then they rake the perks away. I get pinnacle did too but they shouldn't take away from one to give to the next. It's like saying we really don't care about your loyalty. So what happens when they put a step above pinnacle? When we started out Diamond was the highest level. So will pinnacle care when they add another step and start taking perks away from them?

Oh this is why I wish I were retired! But I have to wait a few more years.

Never had 2 booked at once but many years ago we did do 2 in one year. It is an amazing feeling. Now we do 1 every few years. We just made Diamond so our August cruise will be our first as Diamond. Congrats on your double cruise life 😆.

Years ago we were on a cruise with a small group. The kids ( early 20's) went over put a few coins in and won over $400! I was mad lol I goof with that all the time and never win more than a dollar or 2.

We're thinking the same way. We don't cruise until August but we're fine with what ever we get honestly we already have 2 beach days if this stop comes back so if it doesn't we'd be just as happy😉. I booked the cruise for Grand Cayman any way since we got married there while cruising on FOS.

This looks interesting and I'd love to book it but it's still just shy of $100 a person. Has anyone done this tour and what do you think a good price is? We're still 5 months out hoping it goes down at least another $10 pp.

I've never been a hit tub person. Sitting in hot steamy water with a bunch of others doesn't sound fun. Then again I prefer a shower over a bath. My sister has had a got tub for many years and I think I briefly went in it once lol. I watched a family sit in one for HOURS with a baby!! Took baby out layed him on the side changed his poopy diaper and put him back in.

I've actually had a very bad asthma attack in church froma woman who was wearing very strong perfume in front of me. I excused myself and left to go inhale my medicine. I had to be driven home. Yup not just cigarettes
