Yep the pricing sucks. We just hit diamond so the 4 free drinks is nice, but the convenience of the drink package is why I really like it. I hate having to sign the receipt every time and watch the transactions. It would be nice if they discounted the drink package further to offset the free drinks. Never going to happen though, I know.

I’ve been having the same issue for a few days now too. Also located in Canada if that makes a difference.

Yep! We have 2 cruises with Royal booked in the next 10 months but just booked a spring 2025 trip with Princess instead. 7 day Mexican riviera balcony for 4 pax on navigator was $7200 + gratuity + drink package + wifi. 7 day mexican riviera same week on Discovery Princess was $4500 for 4 in a mini suite with the plus package included and fully refundable deposits. I love Royal, but navigator is not worth double the cost of the competition.

yep there was an outdoor shower, my husband used it (dressed lol) after going for a run. They did have music at the pool starting at noon but it was good! Could still have a conversation with the music playing. They shut down after about an hour though because it started pouring.

We did stay there for the day! $15 taxi from port to the hotel, we got there around 10 am, stored our luggage and there were a ton of pool chairs open. Got busier throughout the day though. Had lunch at the tables by the pool. Theres also a pool house with a ping pong table to hang out in. Walkway straight to the beach was really convenient. I wish they had showers, but overall it was great and worked really well for the 8 of us!

That’s too bad it can’t be added after! We got a pretty great deal though so I’m not too too concerned. Good to know moving forward, although that diamond+ marker is a long way away!

I’m newly diamond and was wondering the same. Quoting out a trip for next January and no difference booking a balcony if I use my c&a number or not! we have another sailing coming up in April (haven’t hit final payment yet). I called and they told me they would credit $275 for the diamond discount and then emailed me after saying I would have to refare to add it so it’s better to not do it. Very confusing.

That makes sense! I guess I can wait for that email instead of checking the app 8000 times per day if the room has been assigned 😂 we’re 34 days out and know the number via the barcode trick too

Did you have your guarantee room assigned today? I’ve heard of the room being assigned cancelling the bids.

They haven’t even noticed it for the most part. Sometimes I set off the metal detector and I just tell them I’m wearing an insulin pump and they flag me through. I keep all of my supplies in my carry on bag and they’ve never questioned anything. I usually get a pat down though at airports, no big deal!

I use a dexcom g6 as well and have had no issues on cruises with it!
